President
Annette Booker has been a member of NSBE since 1997 when she joined the newly developed Norfolk State University Chapter. One year later, she became president of her collegiate chapter. After relocating from Virginia to Texas, Annette connected with the Austin Alumni Extension Chapter where she and another member revitalized the Pre-College Initiative program, chartering three new chapters. With the encouragement of the membership and the success of multiple programs, Annette campaigned for the presidency and now begins her inaugural year as Austin Alumni’s President.
Vice President
Rani Johnson is the Director of Project Office at E2open, as pre-IPO supply chain management software/services company. Rani is a graduate of Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology where she earned degrees in General Engineering and Electrical Engineering respectively. Rani previously served as the Finance Chair with the Austin Alumni Chapter from 2006 to 2007.
Treasurer
Charles Brent is a Product Engineer at FreeScale Semiconductor. He is a Fall 2003 graduate of Southern University with B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Charles has served as Treasurer for AA-NSBE since August 2005. Random Fact: Marched in the Southern University Marching Band, The "Human Jukebox."

Finance Committee Chair
Florence Manega is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder where she earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Florence has been an active member of NSBE beginning her freshman year of college where she held several leadership positions including chapter Secretary, Vice President, and President.
Within NSBE Alumni Extension, Florence currently serves as the 2007-2008 AA-NSBE Finance Chair, and is committed to fulfill the NSBE mission by ensuring the financial permanence of the chapter. Prior to her appointment as Finance Chair, Florence served as a College Initiative co-chair.
Membership Committee Chair
Shandrian Jarvis is the current membership chair for AA-NSBE. In this capacity, she is responsible for coordinating recruitment, orientation, and retention of members.
Shandrian is a Texas native and has lived in Austin for over eleven years. She earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked as a transportation/environmental planner for seven years in both the public and private planning sectors. She previously served as a college initiatives co-chair with the Austin Alumni Chapter from 2006 to 2007.
Programs Committee Chair
Jennifer Woods has been an active member of NSBE for over 9 years. Jennifer is very passionate about the organization's mission and the organization's ability to produce professional and academic leaders. Jennifer has served in various leadership positions in the society, including Chapter President, Regional Secretary, alumni Chapter Parliamentarian, and currently alumni Chapter Programs Chair. Jennifer feels honored to support to the UT-Austin chapter where she was first introduced to the organization.
Jennifer Woods, a proud Austin native, graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Jennifer is currently working as a Product Launch Marketing Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. Jennifer Woods is an active member of the Eastside church of Christ and enjoys dedicating her time to various community activities.
Public Relations Committee Chair
Wendall Ramsey is an Electrical Engineer (Hardware Test Engineer/Test Coordinator) for IBM and is assigned to plan, perform, and implement testing on hardware associated with IBM's Systems and Technology Group. He is a graduate of Texas Southern University and Rice University in Houston, TX with degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering.
Wendell has been an active member of the Austin Alumni Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (AA-NSBE), NSBE - Alumni Extension (NSBE-AE) since 1990, where he's worked to provide leadership and support for all areas of information sharing via print and web based communications tools. Within NSBE-AE, Wendell has held various leadership positions - National Alumni Publications Chair, Regional Alumni Chair, and AA-NSBE Chapter President. As a member of AA-NSBE, Wendell has been an active supporter of area non-profits with respect to shared resources toward encouraging & motivating youth toward college and other technical opportunities.
College Initiative
Ernest Holloway is the College Initiative (CI) chair for the 2007-2008 calendar year. As CI, Ernest is responsible for supporting local college NSBE chapters, providing collegiate professional development, providing scholarship opportunities to earn scholarship and assisting in providing a network of professionals for college students.
Ernest is originally from New London, Connecticut. He graduated in 2006 from University of Connecticut with a dual degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and a minor in math. Ernest has been a member of NSBE since 2000, and served as the Academic Excellence chair for region 1 UCONN chapter in 2003-2004. He is now working as a product engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc.
President Emeritus
Charles D. Robinson, Jr., is a Senior Design Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor, a spin-off of Motorola, where his responsibilities relate to semiconductor chip design.
After completing a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from MIT, Charles received a Master of Science in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin
Following graduate school, Charles joined the Austin Alumni Chapter of NSBE in 1993 and has been an active member ever since. Charles has held various roles in the AA-NSBE chapter including secretary, vice-president and president among several others. He currently serves as president-emeritus and is the Region V AE Chair-Elect for 2007-2008.
